A digital credential is only valuable if people can trust it. Every Certify credential can be checked by anyone, in seconds, with no account needed.
The verification page
Each credential has its own web page. When someone opens your credential's link, they see:
your name
what you achieved, and what you had to do to earn it
the organisation that issued it, and whether it is a Verified Issuer
when it was issued and, if it has one, when it expires
whether it is still valid
Because the page is hosted by Certify on behalf of your issuer, it always shows the current, official record. If the credential expires or is withdrawn, the page says so.
Blockchain verification
Certify records each credential on a blockchain, which makes it very hard to fake or alter. A new credential may briefly show as "Blockchain pending" while this happens. See Why your digital badge shows as "Blockchain pending".
Open Badges
Certify credentials follow the Open Badges standard, so they can also be checked by other platforms and tools that support it.
How to make checking easy
Share your credential's link, not just a PDF or image. A PDF can be edited; the link can't. See How can I use my credential's unique URL?
Add it to your LinkedIn profile, so anyone viewing your profile can click through to the verification page.
