How is a digital credential received?

What happens when an organisation issues you a badge or certificate, and what to do next.

When an organisation issues you a digital badge or certificate through Certify, it arrives by email.

What you receive

The email is sent on behalf of the organisation that issued your credential and contains a link to your credential page. That page shows your badge or certificate, what you achieved, who issued it and when. Anyone you share it with can check there that it is genuine.

What to do next

  1. Open the link in the email to view your credential.

  2. Set a password when asked. This lets you log in again later and unlocks every feature for your credentials, such as downloading a PDF and adding them to LinkedIn.

  3. Share it. Add it to your LinkedIn profile, post it on social media, or add the link to your CV or email signature.

Every credential issued to the same email address, now or in future, appears together when you log in. See How do I log in to see my credentials?

No email?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If it is not there, see I haven't received my credential.
