When logged into your digital backpack, you will see an image for each credential you have received.

By clicking on a badge image you will then find more details about it, such as what the badge represents and what the earning criteria were.

Below the badge details, you will see several buttons.

Download the badge image

Downloading the badge image provides an image file with the data included as metadata.

Email badge

This feature allows you to share your achievement quickly and easily. Clicking the button will open a new window where you will be asked to enter the email address of whoever you want the badge sent to and will include their email address so they know who it is from, along with an optional message.

Download certificate

If a certificate is also available for download with your badge, you will see a Download certificate button. Clicking this button will generate a PDF and in some browsers it will automatically download it for you and you can print it.

Validate badge

Your digital badge was created using the Open Badge standard developed by the Mozilla Foundation. As such, it contains metadata about you, the issuer, and the badge itself. Validation confirms that each badge item is valid. A badge record is also stored on the Blockchain for added security.
