I haven't received my credential

What to check if you are expecting a badge or certificate and it hasn't arrived.

If you are expecting a badge or certificate and it hasn't arrived, work through these checks in order.

1. Search your inbox, spam and junk folders

Credential emails are sometimes filtered as spam, especially by work email systems. Search for the name of the organisation that issued your credential, and for "Certify". If your organisation uses quarantine or security software, ask your IT team whether the email was held.

2. Check which email address it was sent to

Your credential goes to the email address the issuing organisation has on record for you, usually the one you used to register for the course or programme. If you have more than one email address, check them all.

3. Try logging in

If your credential has been issued, you can see it by logging in, even without the email:

  1. Use the forgotten password option and enter the email address you think your credential was sent to.

  2. If a credential has been issued to that address, you will receive an email to set a password. Once you have logged in, you will see your credentials.

If you don't receive a password email, no credential has been issued to that address yet.

4. Contact the organisation that issued it

Certify hosts credentials on behalf of the organisations that issue them. We can only show you a credential once your issuer has published it, and we can't issue or resend one ourselves. Your issuer can confirm whether your credential has been issued, check the email address, and resend it.

If you can't reach your issuer, email us at [email protected] with the organisation's name, and we will try to put you in touch with them.
