Automatic reminder emails for recipients
Send recipients a reminder email 1, 3 or 5 days after you issue their credential.
Last updated 2 October 2026
When you issue a credential, the recipient gets an email about it. Some people miss that email or mean to come back to it later, so Certify can send them a reminder.
How reminders work
- Reminders are set once for your whole issuer account, and apply to every credential you send.
- You choose when the reminder goes: 1, 3 or 5 days after the credential was first issued.
- The reminder is sent to the recipient by email.
See which reminders have been sent
Open the Issued tab in your issuer dashboard to follow reminders for the credentials you've sent.
Reminders and expiry dates
Reminders are timed from when a credential is issued, not from when it expires. To give credentials an end date, see How to set expiry dates on credentials.
Get more credentials claimed
A reminder helps, but most of the difference comes before you issue. See Why do badges go unclaimed, and how do we fix it?
