How to modify the Share to LinkedIn feed text

How issuers on Advanced and Premium plans can change the suggested text for LinkedIn posts.

Last updated 27 September 2026

When recipients click to share their credential in their LinkedIn feed, Certify suggests some standard text for the post. On plans that include white labelling (Advanced and Premium), you can replace it with your own words and hashtags.

Change the suggested text

  1. Log in to your issuer account.

  2. Click Branding and marketing in the left-hand menu.

  3. Open the Share LinkedIn tab.

  4. Enter your text and edit your preferred hashtags.

  5. Click Save.

Recipients can still edit the text before they post.

Tips for text that gets shared

  • Write it in the first person, as the recipient would say it, for example "I've just earned…".

  • Keep it short, and say what the achievement shows, not just its name.

  • Use one or two hashtags your community already follows, plus your organisation's own.
