If a credential page shows "Issuer not verified" or "Unverified", it is telling you about the organisation that issued the credential, not about you or your achievement.
What it means
Organisations that issue credentials through Certify can go through a verification process, in which Certify confirms that they are who they say they are. Organisations that have completed it are marked as Verified Issuers.
If your issuer hasn't completed verification, their credentials show that the issuer is not verified. The credential itself was still issued through Certify by that organisation, and it still has its own page, its details and its blockchain record.
Is my credential still valid?
Yes. The label doesn't mean your credential is fake or has been withdrawn. It simply means Certify hasn't confirmed the identity of the issuing organisation. Anyone checking your credential can see exactly who issued it and when.
Can I get the label removed?
Only the issuing organisation can, by becoming a Verified Issuer. If it matters to you, let them know. See When to contact your issuer.
