You can add your Certify credentials to the wallet app on your phone, Apple Wallet on iPhone or Google Wallet on Android. Your credential is then always with you, ready to show, without needing to find an email or log in. This is available for every credential issued through Certify.
What appears on the wallet card
The card shows the credential's name, the organisation that issued it, the issue date and, if it has one, the expiry date. It also links to the credential's verification page, so anyone you show it to can check it is genuine.
Before you start
The option to add a credential to your wallet only appears when you are logged in to your Certify account on your phone. You won't see it on a computer, or when viewing a credential's public link without logging in. See How do I log in to see my credentials?
Add a credential on iPhone
On your iPhone, log in to your Certify account.
Open the credential you want to add.
Tap Add to Apple Wallet.
The credential now appears in your Wallet app.
Add a credential on Android
On your Android phone, log in to your Certify account.
Open the credential you want to add.
Tap Add to Google Wallet.
The credential now appears in your Google Wallet app.
Wallet cards don't update automatically
A wallet card is a snapshot of your credential at the moment you added it. If your issuer later changes, renews or withdraws the credential, the card on your phone stays as it was.
If your credential is renewed or updated, add the new version to your wallet and delete the old card.
If your credential expires or is withdrawn, delete the card, so you don't show out-of-date proof by mistake.
The credential's verification page always shows the current record, which is why the card links to it.
I can't see the wallet option
Check that you are using your phone, not a computer.
Check that you are logged in with the email address the credential was issued to.
If you are logged in on your phone and still can't see it, email [email protected] and let us know which credential and which phone you are using.
