Digital credentials are sometimes only valid for a set period of time. Others exist for ever. But what happens when a digital credential expires?

Can I renew my digital credential if it has expired?

To renew your digital credential you will need to get in touch with your issuer.

Will my digital credential still be visible once expired?

So long as the credential has not been deleted by the issuer, it will remain visible in your credential wallet even if it has expired. Expired credentials will be marked as expired.

Am I limited by what I can do with an expired credential?

You won't be able to add an expired digital credential to your email signature. You will still be able to download a PDF copy of your certificate, but it will show as expired.
