I can't log in to my issuer account
How to log in to issue credentials for your organisation, and what to do if your password, 2FA code or email isn't working.
Last updated 9 October 2026
This article is for organisations that issue credentials. If you received a credential and want to see it, see I can't log in to see my credentials.
How to log in
- Go to app.certify.one.
- Click I'm an Issuer.
- Enter your email address and password, and click Sign In.
- If your account uses two-factor authentication (2FA), enter the code from your authenticator app, email or text message.
Issuer accounts always log in with a password. The one-time code by email is only for recipients.
You clicked I'm a Recipient
The recipient login is for people who have received a credential. It sends a one-time code, and only to email addresses that have been issued a credential, so you may never get a code for your issuer address. Go back to app.certify.one, click I'm an Issuer and log in with your password.
You've forgotten your password
- On the issuer login screen, click Forgot your password?
- Enter the email address you log in with and click Request new password.
- Open the email from Certify and follow the link to set a new password.
If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam and junk folders and search for "Certify". If you see "Too many password reset requests", wait a while before trying again.
You see "Email or password is incorrect"
- Check that you clicked I'm an Issuer, not I'm a Recipient.
- Make sure you're using the email address you signed up with, or the one a colleague invited you with. If your organisation uses a shared address, try that.
- If you're still not sure of your password, reset it as described above.
You were invited by a colleague
When a colleague adds you under Team members, you receive an email inviting you to set a password. Use the link in that email the first time you log in. If you can't find it, click Forgot your password? on the issuer login screen and enter the address you were invited with, or ask your colleague to check that your email address is correct in Team members. See How to manage team members.
You can't get your 2FA code
- If the code comes by email, check your spam and junk folders, then click Resend once the timer allows it.
- If you've set up more than one method, click Choose another method.
- If you can no longer use any of your methods, for example after changing phone, see I've lost access to two-factor authentication (2FA).
Nobody on your team can log in
If the person who set up your account has left and nobody else has a login, email credential@certify.one with your organisation's name and the email address you'd like to use. We check that the request is genuine before giving anyone access. To avoid this, give each colleague their own login.
You don't have an issuer account yet
Click Register on the issuer login screen to create a free account. See Getting started with Certify.
Still stuck?
Email credential@certify.one with the email address you're trying to log in with and your organisation's name, and we'll help. Never send us your password.
